The new file transfer website QuickSync.me has been online for 2 months. The first notable successes are already emerging. So far there have been almost 38,000 unique visitors, of which more than 6,000 have used the website for file transfer. In the meantime, a total of 20 GB of data has been sent, without any storage on any servers. This already corresponds to an annual energy saving of 22 kWh and should represent a reduction in CO2 of around 20 kg.
The use of the QuickSync.me website not only protects the resources but also privacy. In order to better understand what the specific motivation of the visitors is, the QuickSync.me team, together with BY INTENTION and RoboSystems Consulting, have developed various landing pages for the “Climate Heros” and the “Security Lovers”. The design of the website was also further improved at the same time.
